What was your first experience with CrossFit?
I was totally forced to try Crossfit! All I wanted was a gym membership to supplement my training for track, but my parents thought that would just be another social gathering for me. I tried CrossFit instead & fell in love within the week of learning just the movements.
What is it about CrossFit that makes it so popular & effective do you think?
The Crossfit community is what makes it so popular! It also turns a dreadful workout into a more enjoyable, friendly competition.
Can you recall your most brutal workout?
Any workout that LOOKS easy. Those are always the worst! I hate low skilled & lightweight workouts.
What does a typical day of training look like for you?
A typical training day for me consists of about 2-3 hours in the middle of the day. Don’t ask me to workout in the mornings.
Who are your biggest athletic or general inspirations?
My athletic inspiration is one of my close friends, Alex LaChance. I’ve learned so much training with her & watching her grow throughout the last year. She’s the most humble & hard working athlete I’ve met throughout my Crossfit experience! She showed me that it’s possible to make your dreams real.
