Nutrition Challenge Update

whole30fb

Outliers, after talking with many of you, we’ve decided to try something new for this year’s Nutrition Challenge. Many of you expressed desire to commit to a challenge, but are unable to commit to doing a Whole30 for a range of very understandable reasons. I completely understand, because I’m in the same boat.

So for those of you who still want to be a part of the challenge, but in a way that is more realistic for your needs, here is how you can still participate.

You will create a nutritional declaration of dietary improvements you plan to make for the four weeks of the challenge. This should be a challenge that requires serious effort and sacrifice, but one that is possible to succeed in. Here is the beginnings of mine that I’ve created. It follows a base Paleo diet plus some areas I know I can’t eliminate at this time, mainly rice and oatmeal.

Once you complete the declaration, it will be submitted to us, and you must post it somewhere publicly (like a blog or social media account). You will adhere to the other challenge guidelines (measurements, essay, etc.) that we have outlined for the Whole30 Challenge participants. You will be given access to the resources, and although you will not be eligible to win the challenge, you will still get a t-shirt and the chance to earn 25% of your money back ($40).

Please bear with us, this is the first time we’ve ever attempted something “DIY.” But I have a feeling it could be something great — so help us test the waters and most importantly, have fun with your community!

Don’t forget, the information meeting is this Thursday (1/15) at 7PM!

While a significant challenge like Whole30 is an incredible feat, we feel it is important to recognize your commitment to improving your life, no matter where you are in your journey.
