What are Morning Glory Muffins?

If you’ve never heard of morning glory muffins before, they are hearty muffins that are packed with fruits and veggies. They can also be customized very easily with a few swaps or different proportions. You can even swap out ingredients in a single batch to satisfy everyone’s preferences.

Morning Glory Muffins – Filled with oats, fruits, and veggies, these cinnamon-kissed Morning Glory Muffins taste like cake, and you can customize them very easily with a few swaps or different proportions. – whole wheat flour, oats, brown sugar, melted butter, grated carrots, grated apple, dried craisins (cranberries), eggs, vanilla, ground cinnamon, baking soda, ground nutmeg, ground cloves, salt, , Preheat oven to 375. Grate the carrots and apple. Set aside. ; Add flour, oats, salt, and spices together in a large mixing bowl.; Mix butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla together.; Add wet ingredients to dry mixture, carrots, apples, and dried cranberries. Mix until combined.; Pour into a greased 12 serving muffin tin. ; Bake at 375 for 22-24 minutes. ; Allow to cool completely. Store in an airtight container in the fridge or freezer.; ; – Amount Per Serving (1 muffin): Calories: 150 Total Fat: 6.2g Carbohydrates: 21g Protein: 12.7g

To store for the week, place morning glory muffins in an airtight container or sealable bag. The muffins will keep for about 3 days at room temperature, or about a week in the fridge. To freeze, cool completely then place in an airtight container or freezer bag and store. They will keep for a couple of months in the freezer. To reheat, place in the microwave or toaster oven and heat until warm.
