Summer 2018 Fringe Superheroes in Training Camp!

Mark Your Calendars for the Fringe Superheroes in Training Camp!

CrossFit Fringe is excited to announce our CrossFit Kids coaching crew will be hosting a Superheroes in Training Summer Camp!

About the Camp

The goal of our camp is to forge broad, general and inclusive fitness knowledge while our young athletes ages 4-9 and 10-15 while having a great time. This year includes a packed schedule from July 23 through 27. Classes are from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 2 to 6 p.m. on Friday.

What We'll Cover

Each day, we will focus on building CrossFit skills such as weight training, gymnastics and running, in addition to yoga, mobility and a healthy diet. Campers will enjoy lessons that are designed to keep them moving, engaged, and activities such as Olympic games simulations, making healthy snacks, and ways to turn every workout into a fun game! We hope by July 27, our CrossFit Fringe campers will discover or enhance a love of fitness and wellness while simultaneously growing their abilities to work collaboratively with other athletes and coaches. All camp activities are executed under the guidance of a CrossFit Kids certified coach and a full support staff. Check out a sample day below!

Sample Day at Camp

8:00-8:20am Arrival / Icebreaker / Yoga (May include name game, RomWod)

8:20-8:30am Game(Example: 3 Man Monkey Roll, or other easy game)

8:30-9:00am Weights / Gymnastics / Skill (Example: Med-ball cleans / Skin-the-cats / Ladder Drills)

9:00-9:30am WOD 1(Includes: Prep, whiteboard, skill, heats)

9:30-9:45am Snack / Nutrition / Short Video (Example: Smoothie King / Water vs. Gatorade / Brookes Road to the Games)

9:45-10:15amSmall Group Talk / Competition Talk/ Service Project (Example: Make group name / What is this competition? / Clean basement / Charity)

10:15-10:30 am Stretch / Yoga / Clean / Gym (Example: Finish RomWod from morning / Option to clean gym for points / open gym)

10:30am-11:00pm WOD 2(Large team WOD, for points in week-long competition)

11:00-12:00pm Snack / Activity (Sponsor snack / Watch Every Second Counts / Capture the flag / Talent Show)

Cost

Cost for attendance is $175 for members/$250 for non-members. A$75 deposit per child is due at the time of registration in order to secure your camper's spot in camp. This is a non-refundable deposit unless there is an unexpected medical reason (must have written explanation from Doctor). There are no make-up days for illness during the week of camp.
