The TL;DR: A driven, high-energy coach with unmatched expertise and a knack for pushing limits is joining the CrossFit Fringe family full-time. Corey Sapp brings years of experience, a relentless passion for fitness, and a mission to help athletes uncover their full potential. Whether you’re mastering your first pull-up or chasing competition goals, Corey is here to take your training to the next level.
Corey discovered CrossFit in 2017 and quickly fell in love with its ability to challenge both body and mind. Since then, he’s dedicated himself to helping others experience the same transformation. Whether it’s welcoming new athletes and guiding them through their first steps in the gym or coaching advanced athletes toward their next big goal, Corey thrives on building confidence, skills, and strength at every level.
Corey is returning to Columbia with a wealth of experience and a passion for helping the Fringe community grow. He brings a CrossFit Level 3 certification, advanced expertise in Parisi sport-specific team conditioning, and a coaching philosophy centered on inspiring athletes to redefine their limits.
Outside the gym, Corey’s adventurous spirit shines through. He’s taken fitness to the extreme by completing the longest kayak and paddleboard race in the U.S. twice, lunging two miles, crushing several 150-mile bike rides, and knocking out thousands of burpees. He’s the kind of coach who doesn’t just talk about pushing limits—he lives it.
Corey’s primary focus will be coaching CrossFit classes with the energy, precision, and encouragement that motivates everyone in the room. But his role goes beyond the whiteboard:
Corey officially starts on January 22nd, but knowing him, he’ll be around the moment he sets foot in Columbia. Expect to see him jumping into classes, meeting members, and bringing his unique style of coaching to the gym right away.
Join us in giving Corey the warmest CrossFit Fringe welcome! We’re beyond excited for what’s ahead—lifting, learning, and growing together. Let’s do this, Fringe family!
