Sloppy Joe's A childhood favorite that is still a 10/10 family pleaser! Grab a few easy ingredients and made these sweet and savory sandwiches and then freeze some for later!
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 pound lean ground beef
cup finely chopped carrots
cup finely chopped celery
cup finely chopped green bell pepper
cup finely chopped red bell pepper
cup finely chopped yellow or red onion
teaspoon salt
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 teaspoons red wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cups tomato sauce
cup ketchup
cup low sodium beef broth (preferred) or water
Buns - or baked sweet potatoes if you want to get really fancy!
